2. How We Handle Your Uploaded Photos

Your photos belong to you. We do not sell your photos, we do not use your private images for public marketing without your explicit written consent, and we never use your personal photos to train general artificial intelligence models.
  • Artistic Processing: Your uploaded photo is processed solely to extract compositional lighting, contrast, and facial contours to generate your custom painting.
  • Private Gallery Access: Rendered variants and the final high-resolution masterpiece are stored in a private, non-indexed, tokenized cloud gallery accessible only via your unique order link.
  • Data Retention & Deletion: You may request permanent deletion of your uploaded source photos and artwork files at any time by emailing privacy@paintfy.art.

3. Information We Collect

To fulfill your order and provide customer support, we collect the following:

  • Contact Information: Your email address and name, used to send order confirmations, digital download links, and tracking updates.
  • Shipping Details: Physical delivery address and phone number for canvas print orders, required by regional postal couriers (FedEx, UPS, Royal Mail, DHL).
  • Billing & Payment Information: Payment transactions are handled directly through Stripe. Paintfy never views, collects, or stores your full credit card number or CVV. All transactions are protected by Stripe's bank-level PCI-DSS Level 1 certified encryption.
  • Technical & Usage Data: Anonymized analytical data, including browser type, operating system, and IP address, collected via standard security logs to detect fraud and maintain site performance.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We work exclusively with industry-leading, privacy-compliant service partners to run our store:

  • Stripe, Inc.: Payment processing, fraud prevention, and PCI-compliant checkout.
  • Printify & Regional Print Labs: Giclée canvas printing, frame mounting, and regional delivery fulfillment.
  • Resend: High-deliverability transactional email delivery for order links and updates.
  • Vercel & Replicate: Cloud infrastructure, serverless compute, and encrypted artwork processing.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use strictly necessary session cookies to preserve your photo upload, selected style, and shopping cart during your visit. We do not sell personal browsing profiles or install aggressive cross-site trackers.
